OMG deff. xbox u'll enjoy it way more esp. how u can play live with out jumpin threw so many hoops but PS3 isn't that bad i wouldn't recommend it tho

The Xbox 360 is older then the Playstation 3 but has more games currently such as Halo 3. The Playstation 3 costs a bit more but is the ultimate media center. I'd reccomend the Xbox 360 if your into Xbox Live. But the Playstation 3 has cheaper multiplayer and has a pretty good Internet Browser. So if your willing to spend a bit more, get the Playstation 3 because it's just a better product, and the price reflects that.

I'd say this decision would come down to your personal preference, as well as how much money you're going to have. I don't know too much about the PS3, but I do know a bit about the 360. When it comes to the 360, you've got games like BioShock, Mass Effect, and Halo 3. These are just the ones everyone talks about, but there are a lot of unsung games that are also good. You've got about 3 versions to choose from, the arcade, the premium, and the elite. They used to have core, but it's been discontinued. You can go here for a list of what each version contains:

I would recommend the Premium version. I think the core is a bit lacking and the elite has a hefty price tag. I think the premium has everything you need to start playing online with the best experience possible, and there are a lot of good games to choose from. You mentioned you had a Wii, I'm guessing you might also be a Nintendo fan. If you remember back to the N64 days they had a game called Perfect Dark, they have Perfect Dark Zero for the 360 as well, though it's quite old. For a list of games you can go here:

I think I might have been a bit biased, but I don't know too much about the PS3. You should wait for an answer from someone who knows about it, I'm sure they could offer some good reasons for buying it as well.

I got a 360 over a year ago and just to let you know, I had to send it in to xbox and pay 100 dollars to get it fixed. It occasionally paused on some games a little after I got it, and then a month or so ago it just paused everytime it started up.

There's a lot of problems I heard with the 360's and it was reported not too long ago that xbox added tons of more money to counter all the problems. So, there is this drawback. But maybe they're better now.

Excluding this problem, 360 is cheaper and is pretty decent as far as the games. I wouldn't want blue ray and have to pay for it so I would not want playstation. They both have similar graphics and capabilities so it just depends on if you want to pay for blueray.

Well you already have my first prefrence (wii) so it really depends on you. Xbox or PS3 no difference in graphics if you don't have 1.HD Ready TV 2. HDMI Cable (both very pricey) Xbox is best on value and quality. Sony is great, but I wouldn't buy one because it has all the useless stuff I don't need but still paying for (Wireless Internet, Bluetooth, Hard Drive). I know Xbob has Hard Drive but still I like the PS2 Better.

PS3 by far.

1.) PS3 is comming out with great games with the quickness. Including great exclusives like "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune."

2.) PS3 has a blu-ray player. These alone are very pricey.

3.) PS3's games are blu-ray formatted, 360's are dvd formatted. Blu-ray has a much higher resolution than dvd. This means games for the PS3 will have much better graphics.

4.) The PS3 network is FREE, Xbox's network charges you monthly or annualy.

5.) PS3 is starting something called "Home" this spring, you create and avatar and interact with other people online.

6.) PS3 has better controllers. PS3 controllers are motion sensitive and react when you turn, lift, and jerk the controller. Also, PS3 controllers have built in batteries, not the 360's.

7.) 360's have a 30% chance of failure because they overheat(red ring of death). PS3 has only a 0.02% of failure because they run much cooler.

I highly recommend the 80 GB PS3. It has a huge internal hard drive, 4 USB ports, a memory card/stick reader, and can play PS1 and PS2 games.

If you must, then definitely Playstation 3(only if its got backwards compatibility though). All Xbox 360 has is Halo3. All of its other games have superior versions on the PC.

You should get a PS3 because the games are a little more amazing than X Box 360. But you should get the
X Box 360 because the PS3's images are so sharp, it ruins your eyes faster.

i would say get a 360 they have alot better on-line servers and the graphics are almost identical. x-box uses normal dvd's with a highly compressed format the PS3 uses blue ray. perhaps one day the PS3 will come out ahead but haven't seen it yet.

and i recommend Guitar Hero 3-it's AMAZING! (although you can get it on PS3 too.)
I mean, if you're into the whole music thing, and no, you don't have to know how to play actual guitar at all.

it's so much fun.
definately do with X BOX 360. all kinds of cool games for it.
including all the Halo games, which kick *** as well.
it's got great graphics. i like PS3 too, but i lkike my XBOX wayyy better.

That is not even a question, sexbox! I don't even play, but the xbox360 a great product. But ti depends what people you know play. So, gotta go withyour environment usually, or what you like better.

i wanted a ps3, and hubby bought a 360 he swears by them, loves um. we have a wii also. i think the graphics are better on the ps3 than the 360.

Depends on what games you like to play.

Xbox360 has action/fps with few rpg. Silent Hill 5 and GTA 4 are (as far as I know coming out for both systems) with extra downloadable content for GTA4 that won't be available on the PS3.

PS3 doesn't have much out for it yet and things seem to be more cute action like Ratchet and Clank and rpg oriented. MGS4 is going to be an exclusive for this system as far as we've seen.

However, PS3 hasn't hit it's prime yet in the gaming world. Just have to wait and see what it'll continue to bring to the table.

The PS3 is the best value for the money.
