Can a bad cable wire damage an lcd tv?
I recently just bought a 32" samsung lcd tv mainly for gaming since I don't have that HD box thing. Anyways, the problem is that my cable wire is a piece of **** so the picture quality is very bad. Basically, the picture is somewhat fuzzy and has those static dots all over the screen on some channels. I'm just wondering if this can damage the LCD?
I seriously doubt that any damage is likely to result from that bad cable. The most that will happen - short of complete cable failure - is what is happening now. It doesn't sound like a bad quality cable, as such, but a damaged/ defective cable. Most cables, regardless of "quality", don't cause problems unless they are just plain defective.
